Hi ya'll and God Bless..
Is a blessing to be able to write to you again..I've missed your thoughts and inputs on my crazy HEARTWRITTEN devotionals that i love sharing with you. I have to be real and say that aside from being busy family planning i went through a season of spiritual drought. Let me be clear NO i did not stop being a "Christian" or by any means stopped loving God. I think some if not most of you can relate to what i am saying because in our walk we've hit this state of being at some point, and if you haven't i pray you never do.I share this because is important first of all to be REAL and Most importantly encourage others who might be in this situation or run into it at some point in their lives. My overall goal is to Glorify the name of God through everything i do.
As i learn more and more the WORD of God i believe more and more this from Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." It is why we can never run for too long because the word of God accomplishes His will in our lives and we must deal with truth. I completely understand and accept my walk towards sanctification, though i might never reach it here on earth i die trying and believing His promise. We fall yes, yet we have one who 1.helps us back up. 2 assures us guidance and help in our walk "daily lives" 3.protects us from evil.
One last verse that helped me rebuke this state i was in was the WORD in Jeremiah 12:2b "You are always on their lips but far from their hearts" We are filled with scriptures, we recite them over and over, Love giving them to others, post them all over our walls and what not.. YET WE KEEP THEM SO FAR FROM OUR HEARTS..I had to do some serious checking of myself in this area, But here i am a work-in-progress never giving up because this race is for valiants AND I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.. AMEN!
