The Power of a Praying Wife- Giveaway

I recently picked my copy of The Power of a Praying Wife up again for 30 days of prayer for my husband.

The other day my husband had a tiresome look on his face that touched my heart deeply. You must know that when one of my people are not OK, i get into superwoman mode to make their life pleasant as best i can. After asking my husband what i could do to make his day better he simply said pray for me, knowing that your pleading for me to God, brings me peace. Of course it does i thought, prayers are ALWAYS the best approach to any situation because we give our cares to the Lord and He in all his perfection provides.

The first time i read this book it taught me how and what to pray for my husband. No longer was i repeating the same predictable prayer but rather covering all areas of his life where prayer is vital like
  • His Relationship with God
  • His Work
  • His Affection
  • His Mind
  • His Health
  • His Temptations
This book has been a BIG blessing to me and i want to share it with someone else...So I'm giving away a copy to one random winner!

I would love to have this book. Why? Well, like you said...it's powerful when we pray for our husbands. Truth be told, I'm not very good about praying for him specifically. And since he's started a ministry for the homeless, he most definately needs my prayers even more. He's come under a lot of attacks as well as us going through financial struggles since after 10 months he just finally got his first pay check. Although we really are rich in blessings! Anyways, thanks for reminding me to pray for my hubby.

I would love to have this book. I believe prayer is so powerful, but I'm not always the best at it. As we get closer to the birth of our daughter, I find myself striving to be better at praying for my husband and his upcoming role as a father.

I have read this book before, I would love this book because my DH is deploying in 13 days and I need the reminders. Why don't we do this as a group.

I am a Christian woman who divorced my husband 13 months ago because I had "Biblical cause & reason". A month ago, God told me that if I stood for my remarriage and walked this out as God leads, God WILL restore my marriage! Circumstances say "NO WAY", God says "WATCH ME!".

I would love this book to pray for him while I wait for my husband's return and to also use once God restores him to our home...and my life.

I will definitely follow (I have a friend who just became a Beachbody coach! Would LOVE to hook you up with her on FB...She's not a believer), but can't post about it right now. God has me on an awesome journey right now in my blogging.

Thanks again for the invitation for the giveaway (I came from MckMama's BTW). K, done rambling:)

Blessings! Heaven

I would also love to have this book because I am actually in a facebook group that has just begun going through this together! We are praying for our husbands as we go through each chapter of the book one week at a time. I do not yet own it, but have a copy from the library for a few weeks. I would love to keep this as a cherished copy in my personal library to be able to pray for my husband again and again.

I would love to have this book, as well. With my husband on the road trucking, I constantly worry about him, and find myself praying for his safe return...

I think this book would be of great help spiritually, as well as a great addition to my book shelf. It also seems like the ideal companion to my daily read, "Daily Wisdom for Women".
